This was a commission piece I did for a client a couple of years ago. The interesting part being that I had never heard of the character, nor read any of the books at the time.

The client gave me a brief run down on the character's history and a few pages of reference material to get her look right.

For those who do not know about "JINGLE BELLE"she is an independent character created by artist/writer Paul Dini (Batman;the Animated series) who since her debut has enjoyed the prestigous post of cult icon. She is the mischievous teenaged daughter of one Kris Kringle himself, yep ,that's right, "Santa Clause",and her books usually center on her daily life which consists of how much trouble she can stir up at the North Pole.

I added the elves in after deciding that the picture looked a little too plain with just her in it.

Sony Pictures has recently announced that they have produced a feature film based on the independent comic book based on a story written by Paul Dini. The film is slated for release for Christmas/2006.
